Minimum Wage 2024 Per Month South Africa. The national minimum wage is the floor level below which no employee should be paid. Employment and labour minister tw nxesi announced that the national minimum wage (nmw) for each ordinary hour worked will increase to r27.58 with effect from 01 march 2024.
The nmw first came into implementation in 2019 at a minimum of r20 per hour. South africa’s minimum hourly wage will increase by 8.5% to 27.58 rand ($1.46) from next month.
